NOTE: SB560XL-27-19 must be incorporated prior to or in conjunction with this service bulletin.
NOTE: This service bulletin is not applicable to airplanes that are equipped with Universal or Goodrich terrain
awareness and warning systems (TAWS), or Honeywell MK VIII EGPWS.
REASON
To reduce the nuisance “SINK RATE” callouts during a steep approach landing at a location other than:
London City, England (EGLC)
Lugano, Switzerland (LSZA)
Lindbergh Field, San Diego, California (KSAN)
Stephenville, Newfoundland, Canada (CYJT).
DESCRIPTION
This service bulletin provides parts and instructions to add a EGPWS steep approach push button
switch to the center instrument panel.
