(3) Disengage CB110V TOILET and CB106V RH PATH LIGHTS circuit breakers for the toilet, located in
Interior J-box. The Interior J-box is located in bottom of aft bulkhead closet on right-hand side. Lift latch
and remove access panel, which is held in place with latch and magnets, to access J-box cover. With
access panel removed, press J-box cover latch to release latch and open J-box cover. Pull breakers to
disengage.
(4) Pull up and inboard on toilet upper back cushion to release hook and pile fasteners and remove upper
cushion from aircraft.
(5) Pull up and inboard on toilet lower back cushion to release hook and pile fasteners and remove lower
cushion from aircraft.
(6) Lift toilet lid and remove two (2) screws on outboard side of seat/fascia.
(7) Pull carpet away from toilet seat/fascia toekick and remove two (2) screws from toilet fascia brackets.
(8) Lift toilet fascia enough to access toilet wiring. Disconnect toilet flush switch and toilet fascia toekick
lights. Tag wires for reinstallation.
(9) Remove fascia from aircraft.
(10) Disconnect electrical connector (J1014V) from toilet.
(11) Disconnect fill and vent lines from toilet.
(12) Disconnect drain cable at turnbuckle.
(13) Loosen nuts on tank top enough to allow removal of J-bolts.
CAUTION: Be very careful not to spill fluid during removal and movement of toilet. The water-chemical
solution is corrosive and can cause damage to aircraft structure and interior. Clean spills
immediately.
(14) Lift toilet straight up to remove.
(15) Install toilet drain line plug and plate, attach plate to structure with screws, refer to Waste Line
Plug Removal/Installation in Production 680 Maintenance Manual.
B. Install Toilet Assembly.
(1) Examine O-ring on toilet drain collar for nicks, cuts, or deterioration. Replace O-ring if damaged.
(a) Remove O-ring and clean drain collar.
(b) Pack O-ring grooves in drain collar with silicone grease. Refer to Chapter 12 - Servicing, Externally
Serviceable Flush Toilet in production 680 Maintenance Manual.
(c) Put O-ring into drain collar.
(2) Remove toilet drain line plug and plate. Refer to Waste Line Plug Installation/Removal in Production
680 Maintenance Manual.
(3) Place toilet assembly on floor frame and make sure O-ring on toilet assembly drain collar installs
into toilet drain line.
(4) Attach toilet assembly to floor frame with J-bolts and nuts.
(5) Connect drain cable at turnbuckle.
(6) Attach vent line to toilet assembly vent.
(a) Put clamp on vent line and toilet assembly vent.
(b) Tighten clamp.
(7) Connect water inlet hose to water inlet.
(a) Put clamp on water inlet hose and water inlet.
(b) Tighten clamp.
