Summary

Set Up

Open Shipping Carton

Unpack the generator from its shipping carton.

Remove Shipping Support Hardware

Detach any support hardware used for shipping the generator.

Add Engine Oil

Fill the generator engine with the recommended oil type and quantity.

Move Generator Outdoors

Relocate the generator to a safe, open outdoor area, keeping it clear of obstructions.

Start Up

Add Fuel

Add the correct fuel type to the generator, avoiding E15 or E85.

Electrical Device Connection Warning

Important safety note: do not connect or turn on electrical devices during start/stop.

Set EZ Start Dial to Choke Position

Turn the EZ Start dial to the full choke position for starting the engine.

Start Engine with Recoil

Pull the recoil starter to begin the engine ignition process.

Set EZ Start Dial to Run Position

After the engine starts, adjust the EZ Start dial to the run position.

Connect Electrical Loads

Plug in and connect electrical devices to the generator once it is running.
