Heat Hazard Warning

Keep all objects at least 5 feet (1.5 m) from the generator to prevent ignition.

Generator Setup and Assembly

Unboxing and Initial Inspection

Open the shipping carton and inspect the generator for any damage.

Adding Engine Oil

Add recommended 10W-30 oil up to 16.9 fl. oz. Do not overfill.

Adding Fuel

Add unleaded gasoline. Do not use E15 or E85 fuel.

Starting the Generator

Pre-Start Safety Check

Never start or stop the generator with electrical devices connected or turned on.

Set Fuel Vent Lever and Choke

Turn fuel cap vent lever to 'ON' (I) and EZ Start dial to 'CHOKE'.

Initiate Engine Start

Pull the recoil starter to begin the engine starting process.

Transition to Run Mode

Turn the EZ Start dial from 'CHOKE' to the 'RUN' position.

Connecting Electrical Loads

Plug in electrical devices only after the generator has started and stabilized.
