Does the spark continue
for 25 seconds?
Is the flame failure neon
illuminated?
Press reset button
Is there 230V at L & N
connections on the neon?
Replace the neon
Is there 20mb pressure at
Gas Valve inlet?
Check & rectify supply
Is there gas at the pilot
feed tapping on the Valve?
Remove Burner Ignition
Control from valve
Is resistance across pilot
solenoid connections V1
4.3 kohm ±10%?
If not, replace gas valve
Is the Pilot Feed Pipe or
Pilot Burner Injector
blocked?
If so, clean or replace
Do the main burners light ?
Is there 20mb pressure at
Gas Valve inlet?
Check & rectify supply
Is there gas at the burner
pressure test point?
Remove Burner Ignition
Control from valve
Is resistance across main
solenoid connections V2
3.9 kohm ±10%?
If not, replace gas valve
Remove cover from
Burner Ignition Control
Is there 230V across pins
10 & 11 of edge connector?
Check boiler internal wiring
Does the boiler shut down
when the flow
temperature reaches 85°?

clockwise and the
thermostat phial is correctly
fitted in the pocket
Replace Temperature
