If your Charnwood Stove fire won't burn, several factors could be at play. Start by ensuring the air inlet isn't blocked and that the chimneys and flueways are clear. Verify you're using suitable fuel and that the room has adequate air supply, and that no extractor fan is interfering. Confirm sufficient chimney draw, use a stove pipe thermometer for optimum temperature, and position fuel away from front firebars without overloading the firebox. Keep the airwash control at least a quarter open. Also ensure that all flue connections and the blanking plate are well sealed. Finally, ensure that the chimney draw is sufficient.
