control for your comfort when driving on freeways, turnpikes, or
other

The
system is designed to function
above speeds ofapproxirnately 30 mph

(50 km/h).
To
. engage the . Cruise Control,
proceed
' as follows:
Accelerate to desired .cruisingSpeed· and partially depress.and
release the control blItton at the end of the turn signal lever.
. Remove
your'
foot. frornthe accelerator pedal ' and desired speed
will automatically be maintained.
To change automatic speed setting, press control button until it
bottoms
and
hOld
until desired speed is attained.
Before releasing control button, hesitate at the partially
depressedposition,then remove your foot from the accelerator. j

setting, the car will
resume your· previously selected speed.
To disengage system.lightly

brake pedal.
CAUTION:
To
help keep the vehlcl . under control,
do
not
use the
Cruise Control when

not
be safe
to
keep the vehicle at a
constant speed. For example,. a
constant. speed may
not
be
safe in
heavy
or
varying
traffic'or
on
winding
or
slippery roads. With the Cruise
Control
engaged, taking

off

The horn on your vehicle is actuated by firmly pressing on the pad
in the center of the steering
Wheel.
As a good motorist, use of the
