SHOCK
ABSORBERS
The shock absorbers prevent your Vega from bouncing con-
tinually after you have hit a bump.
To
check each shock absorber,
simply push down on one corner of the car and release.
If
it bounces
up and down more than once the chances are the shock absorber
is
bad.
To
further check, examine the shock for leakage.
If
they are
leaking and/
or
if
they do not appear to dampen bouncing, they
should be replaced.
