Rear
Shock
Replacement
Caution:
The
rear
axle
should
be
supported
during
removal
of
the
shock
absorbers
to
prevent
stretch-
ing
of
the
brake
hose.
1.
Hold the rear shock with
one hand and remove the
nut retaining the lower por-
tion of the shock to the axle.
2.
With a
Vz"
wrench, reach
up and disconnect the two
nuts securing the top of the
shock to the body underpan.
3.
To
install, fasten the top of
the new shock to the body
pan.
4. Extend the lower portion of
the shock to the axle fasten-
ing location and tighten nut.
