Bedside Checklist: Pre-Therapy
Connect the console to AC Power√
Anticoagulant infusing
30 minute battery life
30 minutes prior to therapy initiation
Check for venous access patency
Perform “10-in-10” test
Check for infusion / withdraw resistance
Connect to venous access catheter
Disconnect Withdraw (blue) line from priming bag
Disconnect Infusion (clear) line from UF bag
Open all clamps
No caps or plugs - HUB to HUB connection
