SECURING CHILD WITH HARNESS SECURING CHILD WITH HARNESS
Place child in Child Restraint with child’s back flat against the back of the
seat. Pull Harness Straps over the child’s shoulders and around the child’s
waist. Make sure there are no twists in Harness Strap.

Clothing, such as bulky winter coats that interfere with the proper placement or
adjustment of the Harness system should never be used. Make sure the Harness Straps
lie flat on the child’s shoulders, are adjusted snugly so that clothing is compressed and
the child cannot lean forward, and the Chest Clip is at arm level.
