WARNING: Avoid serious injury or death to your child. Never
use your MyFit and MyFit LE Child Restraint without the softgoods
in place. You must read and understand the Softgood Removal
instructions and the instructions in the User Guide. If you do not
understand these instructions, DO NOT attempt to remove the
softgoods, STOP and call Chicco at 1-877-424-4226.
INSTRUCTIONS: MyFit and MyFit LE Softgoods Removal/Installation
IMPORTANT: Please also refer to the instructions that came with your product.
Completely loosen Harness by pressing Harness
Release Button on the front of the Child Restraint and
pulling out on both of the Harness Straps. Then unbuckle
the Chest Clip and Harness Buckle.

MyFit LE ONLY: Undo the hook and loop fastener
on BOTH sides of the Padded Waist Belt and remove.

Unhook the hook and loop Tab and remove BOTH
Shoulder Pads.

Remove the Crotch Strap Pad by pushing the fabric Tab
through the slot on the BACK of the Harness Buckle. Then
pull the Tab out of the FRONT and remove Crotch Strap Pad.

SOFTGOODS REMOVAL:
Remove BOTH of the cup holders by pressing the
orange button located on the bottom edge of the Cup
Holder and lifting up.

Thread the Crotch Strap down through the fabric and
pull the FABRIC up around the front and sides of the seat.
Then pull fabric around the Harness Adjuster Strap Cover.
The plastic Harness Adjuster Strap Cover is NOT removable.

Summary

Softgoods Removal Instructions

Harness and Buckle Loosening

Completely loosen the harness, then unbuckle the chest clip and harness buckle.

MyFit LE Waist Belt Removal

Undo the hook and loop fastener on both sides of the padded waist belt for MyFit LE.

Shoulder Pad Removal

Unhook the hook and loop tab to remove both shoulder pads.

Crotch Strap Pad Removal

Push the fabric tab through the harness buckle slot on the back and pull out from the front.

Cup Holder Removal

Remove cup holders by pressing the orange button on the bottom edge and lifting.

Headrest Fabric Removal

Unhook elastic straps from the back of the headrest, then pull up the headrest fabric.

Armrest Fabric Removal

Undo the snap attaching armrest fabric, unhook elastic straps from side and top hooks.

Backrest Seat Pad Removal

Remove the backrest seat pad from the child restraint.

Crotch Strap Removal Procedure

Turn restraint over, turn metal bar, push through slot, and pull crotch belt out.

Softgoods Installation Instructions

Backrest Seat Pad Installation

Place the backrest seat pad onto the child restraint.

Elastic Strap Attachment

Hook elastic straps onto side and top hooks near the vehicle belt path.

Fabric Tuck and Groove Securing

Tuck fabric into grooves around the child restraint and secure elastic straps at the back.

Armrest Fabric Installation

Slide armrest fabric onto armrest, snap to backrest seat pad.

Headrest Fabric Installation

Place headrest fabric pad on headrest and tuck fabric into top groove.

Seat Bottom Fabric Installation

Place seat bottom fabric, pull around adjuster strap cover and crotch strap.

Crotch Strap Pad Installation

Slide harness buckle through pad, push fabric tab through FRONT slot, pull tab from BACK.

Shoulder Pad Re-attachment

Fold hook and loop tab over harness strap and secure both sides together.

Padded Waist Belt Installation (MyFit LE)

Wrap pads around waist straps and attach hook and loop fastener on both sides.

Cup Holder Installation

Match cup holders, insert into holders, ensuring lip fits behind groove and clicks.
