PMS 2747 and PMS 186
WARNING: Avoid serious injury or death to your child. Never
use your MyFit Zip Child Restraint without the softgoods in place.
You must read and understand the Softgood Removal instructions
and the instructions in the User Guide. If you do not understand
these instructions, DO NOT attempt to remove the softgoods,
STOP and call Chicco at 1-877-424-4226.
INSTRUCTIONS: MyFit Zip Softgoods Removal/Installation
IMPORTANT: Please also refer to the instructions that came with your product.
Completely loosen Harness by pressing Harness
Release Button on the front of the Child Restraint and
pulling out on both of the Harness Straps. Then unbuckle
the Chest Clip and Harness Buckle.

Undo the hook and loop fastener on BOTH Waist
Belt pads and remove.

Unhook the hook and loop Tab and remove BOTH
Shoulder Pads.

Remove the Crotch Strap Pad by pushing the fabric Tab
through the slot on the BACK of the Harness Buckle. Then
pull the Tab out of the FRONT and remove Crotch Strap Pad.

SOFTGOODS REMOVAL:
Remove the Seat Back Pad by unzipping the pad at the
top of the headrest. Then unhook both hook and loop tabs
near the Shoulder Belt Guides.

Remove the Seat Bottom Pad by unzipping the pad at the
back and front of the seat bottom. Thread the Crotch Strap
down through the fabric and remove the Pad.

Summary

Softgoods Removal

Loosen Harness and Unbuckle

Completely loosen harness by pressing release button and unbuckling chest clip and harness buckle.

Undo Waist Belt Pads

Undo the hook and loop fastener on both waist belt pads and remove.

Unhook Shoulder Pads

Unhook the hook and loop tab and remove both shoulder pads.

Remove Crotch Strap Pad

Push fabric tab through back slot of harness buckle to remove crotch strap pad.

Remove Seat Back Pad

Unzip the seat back pad at the headrest and unhook tabs near shoulder belt guides.

Remove Seat Bottom Pad

Unzip seat bottom pad, thread crotch strap through fabric, and remove.

Remove Cup Holders

Press orange button on cup holder bottom edge to remove.

Lift Seat Bottom Pad Elastic Straps

Lift seat bottom pad and undo elastic straps attached to latch storage compartment.

Thread Crotch Strap Through Fabric

Thread crotch strap down through fabric and pull fabric around seat.

Unhook Headrest Elastic Straps

Locate and unhook elastic straps on the back of the headrest.

Pull Headrest Tabs and Fabric

Pull plastic tabs at headrest top and lift up on headrest fabric.

Remove Headrest Fabric Pad

Remove the headrest fabric pad.

Unhook Armrest Fabric Loop

Unhook the armrest fabric loop from the side hook near the vehicle belt path.

Undo Armrest Fabric Snap

Undo the snap attaching armrest fabric to the backrest seat pad.

Unhook Back Elastic Straps

Unhook both elastic straps on the back of the child restraint.

Unhook Side Elastic Strap

Unhook elastic strap from side hook and top hook near vehicle belt path.

Remove Backrest Seat Pad

Remove the backrest seat pad from the child restraint.

Cleaning Instructions

Crotch Strap Removal

Remove Crotch Strap

Turn restraint over, locate metal bar, turn it, and pull crotch belt out.

Crotch Strap Installation

Install Crotch Strap

Push metal bar through slot on top of seat and pull through, laying flat.

Softgoods Installation

Place Backrest Seat Pad

Place the backrest seat pad onto the child restraint.

Hook Elastic Strap

Hook the elastic strap onto the side hook and top hook near vehicle belt path.

Tuck Fabric into Groove

Tuck fabric into the groove around the child restraint and hook elastic straps.

Slide Armrest Fabric

Slide armrest fabric onto armrest and snap to backrest seat pad.

Hook Armrest Fabric Loop

Hook the armrest fabric loop onto the side hook near the vehicle belt path.

Place Headrest Fabric Pad

Place the headrest fabric pad onto the headrest.

Tuck Headrest Fabric into Groove

Tuck headrest fabric into groove at top, pushing tabs until they snap.

Hook Headrest Elastic Strap

With headrest high, hook elastic strap onto the back of the headrest.

Place Seat Bottom Fabric

Place seat bottom fabric, pull crotch strap up through fabric.

Wrap Latch Storage Elastic

Lift latch storage door, wrap elastic straps on seat bottom pad around ends.

Match and Insert Cup Holders

Match R and L cup holders, insert ensuring lip fits groove and clicks.

Re-attach Seat Bottom Pad

Re-attach seat bottom pad, thread crotch strap, and zip pad at back and front.

Re-attach Seat Back Pad

Re-attach seat back pad by zipping top and attaching hook/loop tabs.

Replace Crotch Strap Pad

Replace crotch strap pad by sliding buckle up and securing tab on back.

Re-attach Shoulder Pad

Re-attach shoulder pad by folding hook and loop tab over harness strap.

Attach Waist Belt Pads

Attach waist belt pads by wrapping around harness waist strap and fastening.
