The appliance is not intended for use by persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless supervised. Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance. Ventilation openings must be kept clear. Mechanical devices not recommended by the manufacturer should not be used to accelerate defrosting. The refrigerant circuit must not be damaged. Electrical appliances not recommended by the manufacturer should not be used inside food storage compartments. Refrigerating appliances, particularly refrigerator-freezer Type I, might not operate consistently in cold temperatures. Keys for locks on doors or lids must be kept out of children's reach to prevent entrapment. The refrigerant and insulation materials require special disposal procedures. The supply cord must not be trapped or damaged during positioning. Multiple portable socket-outlets or power supplies should not be located at the rear. Children aged 3 to 8 years are allowed to load and unload refrigerating appliances. To avoid food contamination, open doors for short periods, clean surfaces regularly, clean water tanks if unused for 48 hours, flush water systems if unused for 5 days, store raw meat and fish in suitable containers, and use two-star frozen-food compartments for pre-frozen food, ice-cream, and ice cubes. One-, two-, and three-star compartments are not suitable for freezing fresh food. If left empty for long periods, switch off, defrost, clean, dry, and leave the door open to prevent mold.

Electrical Connection

The appliance must be properly grounded for safety, with a three-prong plug. The third ground prong should not be cut or removed. It requires a standard 220-240VAC 50/60Hz electrical outlet with three-prong ground and is not designed for use with an inverter. The cord should be secured behind the appliance to prevent accidental injury. Never unplug by pulling the power cord; always grip the plug firmly. An extension cord should not be used; if the cord is too short, a qualified electrician should install an outlet nearby. Improper use of the grounded plug can result in electric shock. A damaged power cord must be replaced by an authorized service center.

Climate Range

The climate range on the rated plate indicates the optimal ambient temperature for the appliance's operation. This includes SN (from +10°C to +32°C), N (from +16°C to +32°C), ST (from +16°C to +38°C), and T (from +16°C to +43°C). Internal temperatures can be affected by factors like location, ambient temperature, and door opening frequency, so temperature control settings may need adjustment.

Locks

If the refrigerator has a lock, the key should be kept out of children's reach to prevent entrapment. When disposing of an old refrigerator, any old locks or latches should be broken off as a safeguard.

Freon-free

The refrigerator uses freon-free R600a refrigerant and cyclopentane foaming insulation material, which are environmentally friendly, causing no damage to the ozone layer and having minimal impact on global warming. R600a is flammable and sealed within the refrigeration system. In case of refrigerant leakage due to circuit damage, keep the appliance away from open flames and ventilate the area quickly.

Preparations for Use

Installation location:

  1. Ventilation condition: The refrigerator should be placed in a well-ventilated area with less hot air, away from heat sources like cookers and direct sunlight, to ensure efficient refrigeration and energy saving. Avoid damp places to prevent rusting and electricity leakage. The room's total space divided by the refrigerant charge amount should be at least 8 g/M³. The refrigerant charge amount is on the nameplate.
  2. Heat dissipation space: The refrigerator emits heat during operation, so allow at least 300mm of free space at the top, more than 100mm on both sides, and above 50mm at the back.
  3. Level ground: Place the refrigerator on solid, flat ground to prevent vibration and noise. If placed on carpet, straw mat, or polyvinyl chloride, use solid backing plates to prevent color change due to heat dissipation. Unobstructed ventilation must be maintained around the appliance.

Preparations for use:

  1. Standing time: After installation and cleaning, do not switch on immediately. Wait at least 1 hour to ensure normal operation.
  2. Cleaning: Confirm accessory parts and wipe the inside with a soft cloth.
  3. Power-on: Insert the plug into a solid socket. After 1 hour, open the freezer door; if the temperature drops, the refrigeration system is working normally.
  4. Storage of food: After the refrigerator cools down, internal temperature will be automatically controlled. Foods usually take 2-3 hours to cool completely; in summer, it may take over 4 hours. Keep the door open as little as possible.

If installed in a moist place, check ground wire and leakage circuit breaker. If vibration noises occur or the wall blackens from air convection, move the refrigerator away from the wall. If the refrigerator causes jamming or image chaos to mobile phones, fixed-line telephones, radios, or televisions, keep it as far away as possible.

Instructions for Food Storage

Precautions for use:

  • The appliance might not operate consistently (defrosting or warm temperatures in the frozen food compartment) if sited below its cold limit.
  • Climate type information is on the rating plate.
  • Internal temperature can be affected by location, ambient temperature, and door opening frequency; temperature control settings may need adjustment.
  • Effervescent drinks should not be stored in the freezer or low-temperature compartment, and water ices should not be consumed too cold.

Food storage location: Due to cold air circulation, different areas of the refrigerator have different temperatures.

  • Fresh food compartment: Suitable for foods that don't need freezing, cooked food, beer, eggs, condiments needing cold preservation, milk, fruit juice.
  • Crisper box: Suitable for vegetables and fruits.
  • Freezer compartment: Suitable for ice cream, frozen food, and long-term preservation.

Use of the fresh food compartment: Set temperature between 2°C and 8°C for short-term storage.

  • Fridge shelf: Lift up to remove, place into position to install. Keep the rear flange upward to prevent food contact with the liner wall. Handle with care to avoid damage.
  • Crisper box: Pull out for access. Ensure it's back in place after use or cleaning to maintain internal temperature.
  • Crisper humidity regulating rod: Slides right for lower humidity (more holes exposed), left for higher humidity (fewer holes exposed) to maintain humidity and freshness of vegetables.

Cautions for food storage: Clean and dry foods before storing. Seal foods to prevent water evaporation and odor taint. Avoid putting too many or too heavy foods; leave enough space for cold air circulation. Do not store excessive or overweight foods to avoid crushing shelves. Keep a distance from the inner wall, and do not place water-rich foods too close to the fridge rear wall to prevent freezing.

Use of the Frozen Food Storage Compartment

The freezer temperature is controlled below -18°C for long-term preservation. Adhere to storage durations indicated on food packaging. Freezer drawers store food to be frozen. Cut large fish and meat into small pieces, pack in fresh-keeping bags, and distribute evenly in drawers.

Fast freezing:

  • Refer to the "Function" section for details.
  • Compared to normal freezing, fast freezing rapidly passes food through the maximum ice crystal formation zone, forming fine ice crystals that don't damage cell membranes, preserving cell juice, freshness, and nutrition upon thawing.
  • Fast-freezing preserves nutrition but consumes more energy than normal freezing.
  • Allow hot foods to cool to room temperature before placing them in the freezer.
  • Do not put glass containers with liquid or sealed canned liquids in the freezer to avoid bursting due to volume expansion.
  • Divide food into small portions.
  • Pack food before freezing; packing bags should be dry to prevent freezing together. Use firm, tasteless, air and water impervious, non-toxic, and pollution-free materials to avoid cross-contamination and odor transfer.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Before cleaning: Unplug the power plug first. Do not plug in or out with wet hands to avoid electric shock. Do not spill water directly on the refrigerator to avoid rust, electricity leakage, and accidents. Do not stretch hands into the bottom to avoid scratches from sharp metal corners.

Internal cleaning and external cleaning: Food residuals can cause bad odor, so clean regularly, usually once a month for the fresh food compartment. Remove all shelves, crisper box, bottle racks, cover board, and drawers. Clean with a soft towel or sponge dipped in warm water or neutral detergent. Clear dust from the rear panel and side plates. Rinse with clean water and wipe dry after using detergent.

Do not use bristle brush, steel wire brush, detergent, soap powder, alkaline detergent, benzene, gasoline, acid, hot water, or other corrosive/soluble items to clean the cabinet surface, door gasket, or plastic decorative parts, as this can cause damage. Carefully wipe the door gasket, clean the groove with a wooden chopstick wrapped in cotton string. After cleaning, fix the four corners of the door gasket, then embed it segment by segment into the door groove.

Interruption of power supply or failure of the refrigerating system:

  • Take care of frozen foods during extended non-running periods.
  • Open the refrigerator door as little as possible to keep food safe and fresh for hours in hot summer.
  • If a power outage is anticipated:
    1. Adjust the thermostat knob to high mode an hour in advance to fully freeze foods (do not store new food). Restore to original setting when power supply normalizes.
    2. Make ice with a watertight container and put it in the upper part of the freezer to extend fresh food storage time. NOTE: Once used, operate continuously; do not stop use under normal circumstances to avoid affecting service life.

Defrosting: This appliance has an automatic defrosting function, so manual defrosting is not needed.

Changing the lamp: The LED lamp is used for lighting, offering low energy consumption and long service life. If abnormal, contact after-sales personnel. Lamps can only be replaced by the manufacturer.

Safety-check after maintenance:

  • Is the power cord broken or damaged?
  • Is the power plug firmly inserted into the socket?
  • Is the power plug abnormally overheated? NOTE: Electric shock and fire accidents can occur if the power cord and plug are damaged or stained by dust. If abnormal, unplug and contact the vendor.

How to disassemble the parts:

  • Fridge door bottle rack: Hold with both hands and push up.
  • Fridge shelf: Hold one end and lift up while pulling outwards.
