Vista USB DMX channel dongles:
In addition to the Vista MV / EX, a Vista DMX channel licence is also required to enable data output from
a computer running the Vista software. This license is supplied in the form of a USB dongle.
Multiple license dongles can be used within a single system to achieve the sum of their individual channel
counts.
Vista software packages (USB dongles) can be sold separately or packaged with a Vista MV/EX at the
time of purchase.
Available channel counts are :
• 128 channels
• 256 channels
• 512 channels
• 1024 channels
• 2048 channels
• 4096 channels
• 8192 channels
If purchased with a Vista EX, the vendor can install the dongle internally.
Contact your dealer to install the dongle to the internal USB port on the control surface (EX only). If you
choose this option we recommend using a qualified service person. Please contact youre nearest
authorized dealer or contact vistasupport@chroma-q.com for detailed installation instructions.
Dongles can also be plugged into any available USB port on the host computer.
