As a general rule, a lower cycle rate is better for efficiency, and a higher cycle rate is better
for comfort. Cold climates require higher cycle rates due to the greater difference between
the indoor and outdoor temperatures. 3 to 6 is a good value for the cycle rate.
Cielo Smart Thermostats allow you to adjust the ‘Minimum On Time’ and ‘Minimum Off
Time’. Dividing 60 by the sum of these values will give you the cycle rate.
Here’s how you can adjust the Minimum On and Off Time on your Cielo Smart
Thermostat.
Step 1: Go to 'Menu' and select 'HVAC Settings'.
Step 2: Select 'Threshold settings'.
Step 3: Tap 'Advanced'.
