Included in the Box:
ASSEMBLY & STARTING YOUR CIGAR OASIS PLUS
1) Remove all contents from the box and remove all plastic wrap.
2) Fill the cartridge using the instructions below.
3) Locate and hold the control top in your left hand with the fan facing
up and your thumb near the air vents on the side. Grasp the
cartridge in your right hand with water holes facing up and your
thumb on the side with the CIGAR OASIS PLUS label. Put the
unit together as you line up the four tabs. Then hold the control
unit firmly in place and slide the cartridge away from you until it
locks. (Move hands in opposite directions to lock together.)
4) Connect the ribbon cable to the connector with the blue side of
the ribbon down. From the back of the humidor, slide the free end
of the ribbon cable between the hinges; and while the Cigar Oasis
is in the humidor, connect it to the power port on the side of the
unit with the blue side of the ribbon facing down.
5) Plug the Micro USB connector into the connector at the back of
humidor and plug the adapter into the wall to power your unit.
Cartridge Refill Instructions
1) Fill a bowl with distilled water only and submerge the cartridge
in it for 4 minutes.
2) Take out the cartridge and let it stand on the countertop for
another minute.
3) Empty all remaining water out of the cartridge so only damp foam
remains. **No water should drip out when the cartridge is
held upside down.**
4) Dry off the cartridge and put the unit back together.
USING YOUR CIGAR OASIS PLUS
Once the unit is put together and plugged in, it turns on and will
read the current humidity. The unit is factory preset at 70%
humidity. As soon as the humidity drops below 70% the fan will
come on to add moisture to the humidor.
To raise or lower the humidity settings use the UP or DOWN
arrows. A few seconds after the adjustment the unit will go back
to showing the current humidity level.
When the unit needs to be refilled, it will flash Lo H2O.
By pressing the SUN button you can view the following information:
Press 1 time to view TEMPERATURE. Use Up and Down arrows
to select Celsius or Fahrenheit. To save your selection press the
SUN button again.
Press 2 times to view Average Humidity.
Press 3 times to view LOW Humidity over 3 days (the unit will start
at 0 until it has enough information to give an accurate reading).
Press 4 times to view HIGH Humidity over 3 days (the unit will
start at 0).
Optional Accessories
Battery
Press SUN button 5 times to view battery charge level when connected
to outlet.
Press SUN button 6 times until you see Pon to enter Power Save Mode
(only available when operating on battery power. Use the down and up
arrows to scroll through the Power Options and the SUN button to select
the option.
Pon is Power On.
SLP is Sleep Mode. The display and fans will turn off. Hold the
SUN button for 3 seconds to turn back on.
PoF is Power Off mode. This completely shuts down the unit and
it will need to be plugged in to turn it back on.
Charging the battery - Plug the ribbon cable into the unit and let it run
on outlet power for approximately 2 hours or until fully charged.
