If NAV1 or COM 1 is not receiving valid data in your Cirrus Aircraft, it could be due to a software or configuration error. Check the PFD Alert Window for GIA1 configuration, software, or failed data path error messages and correct any errors. Alternatively, the GIA 63 integrated avionics unit might be offline. In this case, swap GIA1 and GIA2 and reconfigure for new positions to verify the location of the problem. If the problem follows GIA1, replace GIA1. Also, inspect the Ethernet interconnect from GIA1 to PFD and unit connector pins for faults. If the problem persists, consider replacing the PFD.
