Eseguire Express Setup
Passo 1
Per configurare lo switch è necessario disporre delle seguenti apparecchiature:
• Un PC con Windows 2000 o XP installato.
• Un browser web (Internet Explorer 5.5, 6.0, Netscape 7.1 o successivo) con JavaScript
abilitato.
• Un cavo Ethernet Categoria 5 (normale o incrociato), per il collegamento del PC con lo
switch.
È necessario disattivare eventuali blocchi popup o impostazioni proxy del proprio browser ed
eventuali client wireless attivi sul proprio PC.
Passo 2
Accertarsi che nulla sia collegato allo switch.
Passo 3
Accendere lo switch.
Quando lo switch si accende ha inizio il test
automatico POST (power-on self-test). Il
POST dura circa 1 minuto. Durante il POST i
LED delle porte e il LED SYSTEM
lampeggiano. Al termine del POST il LED
SYSTEM diviene fisso di colore verde.
Passo 4
Attendere che il LED SETUP divenga verde
intermittente.
Al termine del POST, il LED SYSTEM
diviene fisso di colore verde e il LED SETUP
diviene verde intermittente. Lo switch è
pronto per la configurazione. (Se il LED
SETUP smette di lampeggiare è comunque
possibile continuare con il passo successivo.)
