Cisco SM-X Layer2 EtherSwitch Service Module Software
The Cisco SM-X Layer2 EtherSwitch Service Module is supported by default on the IOS-XE software running on
the ISR4000 series routers. All configurable CLI for the module is supported on the IOS that runs on the router
providing a single console for both the module and the router platform. The module is supported on all licenses
beginning with IP Base, extending to SEC, AppX and the UC license. Where MACSec is configured on the
router, a SEC license is needed to enable the feature on the module.
