Automatic station tracking (AF)
With the automatic station tracking function (Alternative Frequency), when driving, the frequency always
changes to the station that currently provides the best possible reception.
You can switch the automatic station tracking function on or off in the menu RDS SET.
In the menu "RDS SET", press the function button and, using the rotary knob select AF ON or
AF OFF and save by pressing the rotary knob .
The function switched on is displayed by "AF".
Due to the high detection speed of the function, jumps may occur in the frequency range during
automatic station scan with buttons and . This can be prevented by switching off the
automatic station tracking function or by using automatic play.
Regional (REG)
If the function is switched on, only alternative regional frequencies of the current station are considered
for the automatic station tracking (AF).
If the function is switched off, all frequencies of the current station are considered for the automatic
station tracking (AF). This can lead to regional programs being cancelled.
In the menu "RDS SET", press the function button and, using the rotary knob select
"REG ON" or "REG OFF" and save by pressing the rotary knob .
The function switched on is displayed by "REG".
Regional profile (AREA)
Different regional profiles (AREA) are stored in the radio. Adaptation to the application area can be
carried out using these regional profiles (e. g., display output medium wave MW or AM). Profiles
available are for Europe (EUROPE), Asia (ASIA), South America (LATIN) and the United States of
America (USA).
In the menu "RDS SET", press the function button and, using the rotary knob select the
required regional profile and save by pressing the rotary knob .
