41. Release foot pres-
sure on the accelerator
pedal, place foot on
service brake pedal and
gently apply pressure to
bring truck smoothly to
a complete stop.
43. Make certain that
your selected path of
travel is unobstructed.
42. Gently push the
transmission directional
selector lever forward
for forward travel (or
pull it back for reverse
travel).
44. Release foot pres-
sure on the brake pedal,
place right foot on the
accelerator pedal and
smoothly press down
until truck begins to
move in selected direc-
tion.
