Before Operation
37. Place your right
foot on the brake pedal
and press down firmly
to apply the truck
service brakes.
39. Gently pull the
transmission directional
selector lever back for
reverse travel (or push it
forward for forward
travel).
38. Release the parking
brake by pushing for-
ward on the brake con-
trol lever at your right
hand side.
40. Release foot pres-
sure on brake pedal,
place foot on accelera-
tor pedal and smoothly
press down until truck
begins to move in
selected direction.
