Before Operation
33. Trucks equipped
with hydraulic attach-
ments or accessories will
have one or more addi-
tional control levers
mounted to the right of
the lift and tilt control
levers.
The function(s) of these
levers should be
checked with your
supervisor before at-
tempting operation.
35. Rotate steering
handwheel to the left
and to the right.
Any excessive or un-
usual free travel, loose-
ness or binding must be
noted on your check
list.
34. Press horn button
to determine if horn is
operational.
If horn does not
function properly re-
cord it on your check
list and report it to the
designated authority
when you have com-
pleted your "before
operation" checks.
36. Check all around
truck to make certain
that your desired path
of travel is unob-
structed.
