30. Push tilt lever forward
and hold in position until
upright tilts forward to near
vertical position.
Return tilt lever to neutral
position to halt forward
tilting action at desired
point.

31. Carefully check for
adequate unobstructed
overhead clearance, then
gently pull back on lift con-
trol lever and hold until up-
right reaches maximum lift
height.
Return lift lever to its neu-
tral position to halt lift at
desired level.
Note any erratic upright
operation on your check
list.

closely observe descent of
upright.
