1. These trucks all have
"inching" capability.
The initial portion (ap-
prox. 1") of brake pedal
travel regulates oil pres-
sure within the trans-
mission. This feature al-
lows controlled truck
speed independent of
engine speed which
makes fast lifting pos-
sible while maintaining
slow travel speed.
3. Load should be
centered on forks and
forks should be near
outside edges of load. If
they are not — adjust
them by lifting fork
lock lever and sliding
forks along fork bar to
desired position.
Then . . .
2. Remember to ap-
proach load slowly and
squarely to" avoid
damaging the material
being handled and to
minimize truck maneu-
vering.

lower lever to lock forks
securely into notch atop
the fork bar.
