Setting thealarm
The default alarm setting is 06:00.
1. Hold in the[ AL ] until thehour digits flash, then press [ ▲ ] or [ ▼ ] to adjust thehour.
2. Press [ AL ] to confirm and move to theminutes. The minutes digits will flash,
press [ ▲ ] or [ ▼ ] to adjust them.
3. Press [ AL ] to save thealarm time setting and return to normal clock mode. If no button is
pressed for 8 seconds, theclock will automatically return to normal clock mode.
4. A single, short press of the[ AL ] button at any time, will activate/deactivate
thealarm. “AL” is shown on thedisplay when thealarm is activated.
Turning off thealarm
The alarm sounds for aduration of 2 minutes and then turns off automatically.
The alarm can be turned off before the2 minutes has elapsed by:
1. Pressing [ SNOOZE/DIMMER ], thealarm will sound again after 5 minutes or
whatever time has been set (refer to theManual time setting section above).
2. Pressing any button except [ SNOOZE/DIMMER ], will turn thealarm off for
24 hours.
Adjusting thebrightness of thedisplay
Short presses of the[ SNOOZE/DIMMER ] button will toggle between thedisplay’s
two brightness levels.
Care and maintenance
Clean thealarm clock using alightly moistened cloth. Only use mild cleaning agents,
never solvents or corrosive chemicals.
Troubleshooting guide
The alarm clock loses contact
with theoutdoor sensor and
thedisplay shows (- -).
• Take in theoutdoor sensor and remove
thebatteries (this resets thesensor).
Check thebatteries and replace if necessary.
Insert new batteries and connect theunits in
accordance with theinstructions above.
• The signal from theoutdoor sensor is
affected by interference from other electrical
devices, furniture or physical structures.
Try moving the sensor to another location.
The alarm clock is functioning
abnormally and/or displaying
strange readings.
• Press [ RESET ] (12) on theback of thealarm
clock.
