REPLACEMENT

Service Bulletin SB-04 covers the replacement of
Brake Cable on the Clicgear Cart, Model 3.0

10MM
SOCKET
DRIVER
Remove the 10mm Nut from the Cable Nut Assembly.
This should loosen the cable and the Brake Hammer
should swing upwards when free.

Disassemble the Cable Nut Assembly and remove all
the components from the Cable.

Unscrew the Lock Screws that secure the Cable to
the Tube.

Separate the broken Umbrella Brake Mount, Brake
Cable Sheath, Cable and Brake Lever from the cart,
remove the Cable from the Brake Lever.

Prepare New Brake Cable Sheath and New Cable for
replacement, they are different from those in Model 2.0

Brake Cable Replacement Procedure

Initial Disassembly and Component Removal

Remove 10mm nut, disassemble cable nut assembly, unscrew lock screws, and separate old cable components.

Gather new brake cable sheath and cable, noting model-specific differences for barrels.

Install New Brake Cable Sheath

Insert new brake cable sheath into cart, passing through the center lower hinge.

Connect Sheath and Secure to Cart

Insert sheath end cap into cable adjust nut and bolt, then secure sheath to tube with lock screw.

Install New Cable into Brake Lever

Install new cable into brake lever, seat barrel, add washer, and insert into new cable sheath.

Assemble Brake Lever and Mount

Assemble brake lever onto umbrella mount, push sheath and washer into place, and reinstall screws.

Final Cable Connection and Adjustment

Connect cable bolt with washers to brake hammer and tighten lock nut, adjusting cable for proper brake engagement.
