The appliance is designed
for indoor domestic use only.
ATTENTION! Always unplug
the appliance when not in use
and before cleaning.
• The red indicator light comes on as soon as the appli-
ance is connected to the power supply.
• Heat the appliance on the highest temperature set-
ting for 5 minutes.
• A small amount of smoke may emerge upon heating:
make sure there is sufficient ventilation.
• During use, the green indicator light flashes on and
off intermittently. This shows that the appliance is
being heated. This takes place to maintain the desi-
red temperature.
• The green indicator lights comes on during the
warm-up phase. As soon as this phase is complete,
it turns off again.
• Use the Dough Spreader and the Crêpes Turner inclu-
ded in the scope of delivery to spread the dough and
to flip the crêpe.
• Otherwise, please use only wooden or heat-resistant
plastic utensils so that the anti-stick coating on the
appliance will not be scratched.
• You may hear slight cracking noises due to differen-
ces in temperature and stress. This does not cause
any damage to the appliance.
NOTE
Only pour on the dough once the
crêpes plate is preheated.
Starting up
• Uncoil the power cable fully.
• Plug the plug into a socket.
• The red indicator light will come on.
• Turn the temperature control to the highest level.
• The green indicator light will come on now too.
• Caution! The appliance will now get hot!
• Wait until the green indicator light turns off. The ap-
pliance is now preheated.
• Use the ladle to pour a small amount of dough,
around 60-80 ml, onto the crêpes plate.
• Use the Dough Spreader to spread the dough with
a rotating movement, from the inside outwards, so
that it is thin and even on the plate.
• Remember that the dough may spill over the edge if
you use too much.
• The dough is easiest to spread if it is very thin and
runny.
• Tip: Dip the Dough Spreader in water before sprea-
ding so that less dough stays stuck to it.
• Bake the crêpe until the surface is no longer fluid and
it can be easily slid.
• Carefully slide the Crêpes Turner under the crêpe, lift
it up and flip it.
• Let the crêpes bake a little longer until it is ready. Lift it
up briefly with the Crêpes Turner to check if it is done.
The crêpe should be visibly baked all through, but
should not be too brown so that it is easy to fold or roll.
• If your crêpe has got too brown, reduce the temperatu-
re level somewhat.
• Now you can fill the crêpe with the ingredients of your
choice.
• Finally, roll or fold it together with the Crêpes Turner.
Your crêpe is now ready to eat. Bon appétit!
