The Clover Mini will replace the existing external payment termi-
nal. This device is to be utilized when the existing credit card sys-
tem is not operating. It securely accepts chip-and-pin and chip-
and-signature EMV cards, enables credit and debit card transac-
tions via swipe, insert or tap. They are not universal and each unit
will be enabled for a specific location.

Function Description:

The Clover Mini securely processes chip-and-pin and chip-and-signature EMV cards. It also facilitates credit and debit card transactions via swipe, insert, or tap, offering flexibility for different card types and customer preferences. Usage Features:

The device will then print a receipt, and the employee can choose to print a customer receipt. After the transaction, the employee can tap the Home key to return to the Main Screen.

The Clover Mini supports pre-authorization, requiring a code to be acquired and input prior to verification. Managers have the ability to review transaction history and reprint receipts. The device is programmed to close automatically at midnight.

Maintenance Features:

For daily operations, managers are responsible for ensuring the device is in "EMPLOYEE mode" after any management tasks are completed. In terms of support, users are instructed to call Clover directly for assistance. Only Clover support personnel are authorized to help with device issues. The device's screen allows for swiping left or right to navigate through different screen options. For security purposes, the device will time out if left inactive.

Refunds are a management-only function. While debit card refunds can be processed, they are not handled as debit transactions in the same way a sale would be. This implies a specific process for refunds that differs from standard sales.
