What to do if my Club Car Precedent Villager 2 2019 handset is “locked-up” and buttons do not respond?

If the handset is locked up and the buttons are unresponsive, the issue could stem from a handset malfunction, vehicle batteries with loose terminals or corrosion, improperly wired batteries, failed batteries, or batteries that are not fully charged. It could also be due to a speed controller malfunction. Disconnect the CDT cord from the vehicle. Wait a few seconds and reconnect the handset to the vehicle.
