When you push and hold the
PTT button,the unit exits out
to operational mode.
If, after 10 seconds no
selection is made, the unit
will return to operational
mode.

Private Call (Voice Scramble)
Private Call ensures that no one can eavesdrop on
your conversation.
To engage the Private Call function:
Push and release button until
PRIVATE
icon flashes.
Rotate ON - OFF Volume Control clockwise.
An audible “tone” will indicate the unit is on
and then the LCD will go through a 3 second
self-test and then go to operational mode.
