carefully before use and follow all instructions mentioned herein.
Caring For Your COLBOR Product
Operation Instructions
Product Instructions
Keep corrosive chemicals, liquids and heat source away from the product to
prevent mechanics damage.
The product is not waterproof.
Do not leave the product unattended while in use. Keep out of reach of
children.
Must remove the protective cover before use.
Do not handle with wet hands. Do not touch hot COB surface.
Please do not block the ventilation and do not look at the light directly when
it is on.
Do not attempt to disassemble or modify the product. Doing so voids
warranty.
Please have the product checked or repaired by authorized technicians if any
malfunctions happened.
Disconnect from the power supply when it is not in use.
Malfunction may be caused by dropping, impact of external force.
Failure to follow all the instructions may result in mechanics damage.
Warranty does not apply to human errors.
If there is no operation for 10 seconds, the current settings are
automatically saved and the selection mode is exited.

Each press switches to next lighting mode

Long press for 3 seconds to enter Overclock mode.
In overclock mode, the output power will be enhanced for 60s. At this time,
the fan runs at full speed with the fan status of "FULL". When the mode
ends, the previous fan status restores.
Adjustment Dial
1.Short press the dial to switch between Brightness and Color Temperature
Control
2.Roll the dial to adjust the value
Brightness (0-100%); Color Temperature (2700-6500K)
3.Press the dial again to switch to another control
Group Option
Press the button to set group (Group A/B/C/D/E)
Fan Option
Default Status: SMART
SMART-The xture will adjust the fan speed according to working temperature.
Press the Fan Option and switch to QUIET status.
QUIET-The fan is o. In order to protect the light, the power will be reduced to
avoid overheating damage.

Function Description:

The COLBOR CL100 is primarily a continuous video light, capable of providing adjustable brightness and color temperature for various shooting scenarios. It supports both CCT (Correlated Color Temperature) mode for standard lighting and EFF (Effect) mode for creative lighting effects. The device can be controlled directly via its integrated control panel or remotely using an optional remote control. It is designed for ease of use with intuitive controls and a clear display.

Usage Features:

The CL100 offers a variety of features to enhance its usability:

Control Panel:

The device features a control panel with several buttons and an adjustment dial:

  1. Power Button (ON/OFF): Short press to turn the light on or off.
  2. Mode Switch (MODE/TRUBO):
    • Default mode is CCT.
    • Each press switches to the next lighting mode in the sequence: CCT → EFF-CANDLE → EFF-BONFIRE → EFF-BLN → EFF-FAULTY BULB → EFF-FLASH → EFF-LIGHTNING.
    • Long press for 3 seconds to enter Overclock mode.
    • Overclock Mode: Enhances output power for 60 seconds, with the fan running at full speed ("FULL" status). After 60 seconds, the fan status restores to its previous setting.
  3. Adjustment Dial:
    • Short press to switch between Brightness and Color Temperature control.
    • Roll the dial to adjust values: Brightness (0-100%) and Color Temperature (2700-6500K).
    • Press the dial again to switch to another control.
  4. Group Option (GROUP): Press to set the group (Group A/B/C/D/E) for multi-light control.
  5. Fan Option (FAN):
    • Default status is "SMART."
    • SMART: The fixture adjusts fan speed based on working temperature.
    • Press to switch to "QUIET" status.
    • QUIET: The fan is off. To prevent overheating, power is reduced in this mode.

Display Indicators:

The display provides real-time information:

  • Fan Status (⑥): Shows "SMART," "QUIET," or "FULL."
  • Power Status (⑦): A percentage icon indicates battery power, while a plug icon indicates AC power.
  • Brightness (⑧): Displays the current brightness level.
  • Color Temperature (⑨): Shows the current color temperature.
  • Group (⑩): Indicates the assigned group.

CCT Mode:

  • Brightness Control: 0-100% (5% stepping).
  • Color Temperature Control: 2700K-6500K.
  • The adjustment dial is used to switch between and modify these settings.

EFF Mode (Effect Modes):

The CL100 offers several special effect modes, each with specific color temperature, brightness, and flicker frequency settings:

  • CANDLE:
    • Color Temperature Range: 2700K-3000K.
    • Brightness Range: 30-100.
    • Rate: 5 levels of flicker frequency (05 > 04 > 03 > 02 > 01).
  • BONFIRE:
    • Color Temperature Range: 2700K-4000K.
    • Brightness Range: 30-100.
    • Rate: 5 levels of flicker frequency (05 > 04 > 03 > 02 > 01).
  • BLN (Pulsing):
    • Color Temperature Range: 2700K-6500K.
    • Brightness Range: 30-100.
    • Rate: 5 levels of flicker frequency (05 > 04 > 03 > 02 > 01).
  • FAULTY BULB:
    • Color Temperature Range: 2700K-6500K.

Remote Control (Optional):

The CL100 can be paired with an optional remote control for convenient operation.

    3. Successful pairing is indicated by three flashes from the CL100 and display of the program version number.
  • Unpairing Procedure:

    1. Disconnect and reconnect the CL100 to power.
    2. Within 3 seconds of reconnecting, point the remote to the CL100 control panel and long press the Overclock Mode button on the remote.
    3. Successful unpairing is indicated by three flashes from the CL100.
    • Important Note for Multi-Light Control: All lights must be switched off before applying remote control to avoid being out of sync.

Automatic Saving:

If there is no operation for 10 seconds, the current settings are automatically saved, and the selection mode is exited.

    • 30-day Free Replacement/Repair: For quality defects found under normal use within 30 days of receipt.
    • 12-month Limited Warranty: For original COLBOR products, starting from the purchase date of brand new, unused products by the first end-user. During this period, defects due to material or technological problems will be repaired or replaced free of charge.
  • Warranty Exclusions and Limitations:

    1. Faults from inappropriate use or not following operation specifications.
    2. Artificial damage (e.g., crash, squeeze, scratch, soaking, exposure to rain or damp).
    3. Modifications by the user or a third party without prior written consent (e.g., replacement of elements, circuit alteration, label alteration).
    4. Inconsistent, altered, or torn product/warranty certificate codes.
    5. Consumable accessories (e.g., cable, cover).
    6. Faults due to force majeure (e.g., fire, flood, lightning).
  • Warranty Claim Procedure:

    1. Contact a local agent or COLBOR's customer service via email for assistance with product failures or problems.
    2. Retain sales receipt and warranty certificate as proof of purchase. Missing documents may result in chargeable service or sales return only.
