Procedure for changing the extruder piston on PR750H and PR350H
This section will describe changing the extruder piston on PR750H and PR350H.
During this operation it’s important
to activate the emergency stop button.
Disassembling the extruder plate changer
Remove one of the extruder plates

by loosening the 2 screws
[

and push out the extruder plate in the opposite
direction. Do also remove the outlet sprout
[

]
. Move the extruder plate changer so this empty slot is in front of the barrel
see instructions regarding operation in single mode below. The extruder plate changer
[

]
will be loosened during this
operation. So it’s important to put a strap around it to avoid any unnecessary hazard. The extruder plate changer can be
fixated as displayed below.
Disassembling the extruder piston
Remove the filter on one side of the extruder cylinder to gain access to the piston by loosening the 8 screws [9] and pull
the filter housing [5], rubber gasket [6], filter [7] and filter gasket [8] out, and you have access inside the extruder
chamber.
