Usage Features:

The Compacta Inox is designed for straightforward operation, ensuring a professional ironing experience.

  1. Filling the Boiler: To begin, unscrew the filling top (3) and fill the boiler with no more than 1.4 liters of standard water. It is crucial not to overfill the boiler. Once filled, screw the top back on mildly.
  2. Connecting to Power: Connect the plug (9) to a 220V, earthed power point.
  3. Powering On: Press the boiler on/off switch (7) to activate the boiler. Subsequently, press the iron on/off switch (8) to turn on the iron.
  4. Adjusting Iron Temperature: Adjust the iron thermostat (2) between the linen and cotton positions. The linen position is recommended for dry steam, while the cotton position is suitable for damp steam.
  5. Waiting for Steam: Before ironing, wait for the steam warning light (6) to illuminate, indicating that steam is ready. If the light goes off during ironing, continue working; it will automatically relight when steam is available again.
  6. Steam Release: Press the iron micro switch (1) to release steam from the iron.
  7. Adjusting Steam Flow: Use the knob (4) to adjust the steam flow released from the iron, allowing for precise control based on the fabric type and ironing needs.

Safety Warnings and Suggestions:

Adhering to these warnings is critical for safe operation and to prevent damage to the unit or injury to the user.

  • Earthing: Ensure the unit is properly earthed. If in doubt, contact a qualified technician. The manufacturer is not responsible for damages arising from improper earthing.
