13.TROUBLESHOOTING



CheckiftheESCisin
SELFPROTECTION
DisconnectthepowersupplyfromtheESCandwait30seconds,reconnect
andverifythattheunitworks,ifnecessaryconnecttogetherthetwocontacts
oftheNTC(sideESC)andverifythatthefanstartswiththesoftstart.Ifitdoes
notreturntowork,replacetheESC;duringassemblyofthenewcomponent,
connecttheESCtothefanthentothesensorandfinallytothepowersupply.
Checkifthereisa
foreignbodythat
blocksthefan
Ifthereisaforeignbodyblockingthefan,removeit,checkthatthefuseis
intactthendisconnecttheESCfromthepowersupplyandwait30seconds,
reconnectandverifythattheunitworks,ifnecessaryconnect
togetherthe
twocontactsoftheNTC(sideESC)andverifythatthefanstartswiththesoft
start.Ifitdoesnotreturntowork,replacetheESC;duringassemblyofthe
newcomponent,connecttheESCtothefanthentothesensorandfinallyto
thepowersupply.
Ifthereisnotaforeignbodyblockingthefan,checkthatthefuseisintact,
thendisconnectthepowerfromtheESCandwait30seconds,reconnectand
verifythattheunitworks,ifnecessaryconnecttogetherthetwocontactsof
theNTC(sideESC)andverifythatthe
fanstartswiththesoftstart.Ifitdoes
notreturntowork,replacetheESC;duringassemblyofthenewcomponent,
connecttheESCtothefanthentothesensorandfinallytothepowersupply.
Checkthefuse
system
Iftheprotectionfuseisfusedreplaceitwithanewone,withsizespecifiedby
themachinemanufacturer.
IftheprotectionfuseisintactdisconnecttheESCfromthepowersupplyand
wait30seconds,reconnectandverifythattheunitworks,ifnecessary
connecttogetherthetwocontactsoftheNTC(sideESC)andverifythatthe
fanstartswiththesoftstart.Ifitdoesnotreturn
towork,replacetheESC;
duringassemblyofthenewcomponent,connecttheESCtothefanthento
thesensorandfinallytothepowersupply.
Checkalongthe
wiringharnessifall
theconnectorsare
properlyinserted
andundamaged
Ifoneormoreconnectorsarenotinsertedproperlydisconnectthepower
supplyfromtheESCandwait30seconds,restoretheconnection,checkthat
theprotectionfuseisintact,thenreconnectandmakesuretheunit
works,if
necessaryconnecttogetherthetwocontactsoftheNTC(sideESC)andverify
thatthefanstartswiththesoftstart.Ifitdoesnotreturntowork,replacethe
ESC;duringassemblyofthenewcomponent,connecttheESCtothefanthen
tothesensorand
finallytothepowersupply.
Ifalltheconnectorsareconnectedcorrectly,disconnectthepowersupply
fromtheESCandwait30seconds,reconnectandmakesuretheunitworks,if
necessaryconnecttogetherthetwocontactsoftheNTC(sideESC)andverify
thatthefanstartswiththesoftstart.Ifitdoes
notreturntowork,replacethe
ESC;duringassemblyofthenewcomponent,connecttheESCtothefanthen
tothesensorandfinallytothepowersupply.

