during use.
4) Usage
NOTE: Never use the bowl without the basket properly installed in it. If the pan doesn’t be xed into the air fryer properly, the appliance won’t work.
1. Plug the device to power supply
2. Preheat the air fryer for approx. 5 minutes by using the timer control and temperature control dials. The (green) power and (orange) heating-up lights will will turn on, signalling that the
hot air fryer is heating up. Once it has reached the required temperature, the heater and heating-up light will automatically turn o (and turn ON again while keeping the set temperature)..
3. When preheting is nished, pull out the cooking bowl from the main unit, using the handle. Place the cooking bowlonto a at, stable heat-resistant surface.
4. Place the ingredients into the basket and then slide the cooking bowl back into main unit.
Note: Do not ll the basket or bowl pot with oil. Never ll the basket beyond the MAX indication. Never use the bowl without basket in it. Do not touch the bowl during and immediately
after use, because it gets very hot. Always hold it only by the handle.
5. Use the temperature control knob to set the air fryer to the required heat setting.
6. Determine the cooking time required for the ingredients and use the timer/power knob to set the time accordingly (please refere to “cooking & recipes” section); the timer will begin to
count down once released.
7. Some ingredients may require checking or shaking halfway through the cooking time. Pull out the bowl from the main unit using the handle. Make sure not to separate the bowl and basket
unintentionally (keep the protective cover closed at all time). Shake the bowl gently and then slide it back into the main unit to close it and continue to cook.
8. Once cooking is complete and the preset time has elapsed, the timer will make a ‘ring’ sound. Check whether the ingredients are ready by carefully opening the bowl. If the ingredients are
not cooked, close the bowl and use the timer/power knob to adjust the cooking time accordingly. If the food is cooked, remove the basket from the bowl and then empty the contents on serving
dish. Use a pair of heat-resistant tongs (not included) if the food is large or fragile. Do not use hands.
NOTE: Always preheat the air fryer before starting to cook or alternatively add approx. 3-5 minutes onto the cooking time. If the cooking time or temperature setting needs to
bechanged during use, simply use the timer or temperature control knobs to adjust. During use, the orange heat indicator light will cycle ON and OFF to signal that it is maintaining
the selected temperature.
NOTES:
After use always unplug the device from power supply.
Do not tip the food directly from the bowl, as excess oil may collect at its bottom and leak onto ingredients. Always remove the basket from the bowl by pressing knob on basket/bowl handle.
You can also switch o the appliance manually. To do this, turn the temperature control knob to OFF, or pull out the bowl.
TIPS:
For easier handling/shaking, you can remove the basket from the bowl and shake the basket only.
If you set the timer to half the preparation time, you hear the timer bell when you have to shake the ingredients. However, this means that you have to set the timer again to the remaining
preparation time after shaking.
Tip: If you set the timer to full preparation time, there is no timer bell during cooking before nishing, you can pull out the bowl at any time to check the ingredients cooking condition, the
power will shut o automatically and resume after the bowl is positioned back into the device (timer always counts down in this situation).
5) Cooking & recipes
The following is only aguideline for cooking certain types of foods with the hot air fryer. Cooking should always be monitored.
NOTE: Keep in mind that these settings are indications. As ingredients dier in origin, size, shape as well as brand, we cannot guarantee the best setting for your ingredients.
TIPS:
- Smaller ingredients usually require a slightly shorter preparation time than larger ingredients.
- A larger amount of ingredients only requires a slightly longer and a smaller amount of ingredients only slightly shorter preparation time.
- Shaking smaller ingredients halfway through the preparation time optimizes the endresult and can help prevent unevenly fried ingredients.
- Add some oil to fresh potatoes for a crispy result. Fry your ingredients in the air fryer within a few minutes after you added the oil.
- Do not prepare extremely greasy ingredients such as sausages in the air fryer.
- Snacks that can be prepared in a oven can also be prepared in the air fryer.
- The optimal amount for preparing crispy fries is 500 grams.
- Use pre-made dough to prepare lled snacks quickly and easily. Pre-made dough also requires a shorter preparation time than home-made dough.
- Place a baking tin or oven dish in the air fryer basket if you want to bake a cake or quiche or if you want to fry fragile ingredients or lled ingredients.
- You can also use the air fryer to reheat ingredients. To reheat ingredients, set the temperature to 150℃ for up to 10 minutes.
