Why is my COMFORT-AIRE Air Conditioner not cool enough?

  Your COMFORT-AIRE Air Conditioner might not be cooling effectively due to several reasons: * Windows or doors might be open. Ensure all windows and doors are closed to keep the cool air inside. * Heat sources in the room. Remove any heat sources to improve cooling. * The exhaust air duct may not be connected properly or is blocked. Connect the duct correctly and ensure it's not obstructed. * The temperature setting might be too high. Try decreasing the set temperature. * The air filter could be blocked by dust. Clean the air filter to improve airflow.

  If your COMFORT-AIRE Air Conditioner doesn't start when you press the on/off button, it could be due to the following reasons: * 'P1' appears in the display window: This indicates that you need to drain the water in the bottom tray. * The room temperature is lower than the set temperature (in Cooling mode): In this case, reset the temperature to a lower setting.
