Why is my COMFORT-AIRE PS-101A Air Conditioner not cool enough?
    • E
      elizabethhortonAug 5, 2025
There are several reasons why your COMFORT-AIRE air conditioner might not be cooling effectively: * Ensure all windows and doors in the room are completely closed and try to remove any significant heat sources. * Check that the exhaust air duct is properly connected and not blocked, ensuring it functions correctly. * The temperature setting may be too high; try decreasing the set temperature. * The air filter could be blocked by dust. Clean the air filter to improve performance. Also, if possible, place the unit on flat, level ground.

Why did my COMFORT-AIRE Air Conditioner power shut off in Heating mode?
    • E
      Eric BallAug 20, 2025
The power shut off in heating mode is due to the automatic overheat protection function. When the temperature at the air outlet exceeds 70°C/158°F, the device will automatically stop to prevent damage.
