E. Checking the system firmware version of the CM3PVRD
1.1 Connect the CM3PVRD to your TV and turn the CM3PVRD on with the switch on the back.
1.2 When the CM3PVRD is in the main menu, press ‘RECORD’ – ‘0’ – ‘0’ – ‘0’ (zero) on the remote
control.
The CM3PVRD will show the Device Information screen where you can see the current system firmware
version of the CM3PVRD. This should be:
- VER: PVRD-022
1.3 Press the ‘ENTER’ button on the remote control to return to the CM3PVRD main menu.
Note: After the upgrade, it is possible some of the system settings have changed. There are three
options that could have been changed:
- Video output : no image or wrong colors
- TV system : no image or wrong colors
- System language : system language is German instead of the chosen language
To change the video output, make sure the TV is set to the correct input and turn on the
CM3PVRD. Wait 1 minute for the CM3PVRD to completely start up and then press the ‘OUTPUT’
button on the remote control to switch between the video outputs. It might be needed to press
the ‘OUTPUT’ button multiple times, but wait for 5 to 10 seconds between each press to let the
TV and the CM3PVRD adjust themselves to the new signal.
To change the TV system, press ‘7’ or ‘SETUP’ on the remote control while in the main menu to
enter the Setup menu. Then select ‘Video’ and ‘TV System’ and select the TV system that your
country and TV require.
To change the system language, press ‘7’ or ‘SETUP’ on the remote control while in the main
menu to enter the Setup menu. Then select “Allgemein” and “Sys.Sprache” and select the
language of your preference.
