Conceptronic CSM3PL Firmware Upgrade Instructions
for firmware version 1.58D BETA
A. Upgrade information
The Conceptronic CSM3PL is equipped with an upgradeable firmware chip. This function makes it
possible to improve the device and to add new features.
Note: This firmware upgrade for the CSM3PL can only be applied to devices with firmware version
1.54 (MP07ST022408A) or higher. If you have a lower version you need to upgrade to version
1.54 before you can apply this firmware upgrade.
Note: The firmware upgrade procedure is at your own risk. Even though a firmware upgrade can
improve the device and add new features, there’s a small possibility of an upgrade failure
which makes the device unusable.

Internal Hard Disk Upgrade Procedure

Copy Firmware to Internal Hard Disk

Copy firmware to CSM3PL's hard disk via USB before proceeding with the upgrade.

Perform Firmware Update

Select firmware folder on CSM3PL, confirm, and let the upgrade process complete.

Remove Firmware Folder Post-Upgrade

Delete the firmware folder from CSM3PL to prevent accidental re-upgrades.

USB Stick or Memory Card Upgrade Procedure

Copy Firmware to USB;Memory Card

Copy firmware to USB/memory card via computer before upgrading the device.

Perform USB;Memory Card Firmware Update

Connect USB/card to CSM3PL, select firmware, confirm, and let the upgrade process complete.

Verify Firmware Version

Verify the firmware version on the TV/monitor after the upgrade.
