F. Summary of DVD menu navigation functions
To playback a DVD with menu navigation, you need to do the following:
1. Copy all files from the DVD to a folder on the hard disk of the CMED3PLUS. The name of the folder
can be anything (for example: ‘DVD_DISC1’). The DVD folder structure however, has to be
maintained. This means that the ‘VIDEO_TS’ folder always has to be present in the movies’ folder (in
this case ‘DVD_DISC1’). The ‘AUDIO_TS’ folder is not necessary, unless there are files inside.
2. To start DVD menu navigation, you need to navigate to the ‘DVD_DISC1’ folder and press the right
navigation button on the remote control. In case you press the ‘Enter’ button, you will see the folder
contents. If this happens, go back to folder above it and press the right navigation button on the
remote control.
3. Press the ‘SUBTI’ button to select a subtitle.
4. Press the ‘AUDIO’ button to select a spoken language.
5. Press the ‘FUNC’ button to see information about the current file.
6. Press the ‘<<’ or ‘>>’ button to fast forward or fast rewind.
7. Press the ‘I<<’ or ‘>>I’ button to select a previous or next chapter.
8. Press the ‘II’ button to pause the playback.
9. Press the ‘▀’ button to stop the playback and leave the menu navigation.
10. Press the ‘ZOOM’ button to zoom in or out.
11. Press the ‘VOL-‘ or ‘VOL+’ button to adjust the volume.
12. Press the ‘MUTE’ button the turn off the sound, press it again to turn on the sound.
13. Press the ‘A-B’ button to repeat a certain part of the video.
14. Press the ‘REPEAT’ button the change the repeat function. Possibilities are:
- CHAPTER REPEAT: repeats the current chapter
- TITLE REPEAT: repeats the current title
- REPEAT OFF: turns off all repeat functions
