Why does my Condair Nortec GS Humidifier not turn on when I flip the On/Off switch?
    • L
      Linda JohnsonAug 16, 2025
If your Condair Humidifier doesn't respond when you turn the On/Off switch on, it could be due to: * Incorrect or no voltage. Check the disconnect switch in the supply line and the fuse between the transformer and the On/Off switch. * The step-down transformer may not be outputting 24 VAC. Check the fuse and measure the VAC on the transformer's primary connections. Replace the transformer if necessary.

Ensure it's not too close to the steam distributor (recommendation is five times the absorption distance or minimum 10 ft (3 m)). Also, verify the high limit setpoint, typically around 80% RH. * There might be no signal on Channel 1. Check the voltage between terminal strip pins "3" and "4". For a demand signal, it needs to be 27% of full scale to start. For a transducer signal, it must ...
