EVHV_ADAPT
The power supplies with a maximum Voltage of 1500V or more, have special safety output sockets for High
Voltage. These are deep recessed 4 mm banana sockets for which many plugs of tanks will be suitable.
Because the output sockets have a maximum diameter that can be accepted, it will be required in some
cases to make use of a pair of adapters. 1 such pair is supplied with this type of power supply.
Here are the instructions how to install these.

• 1 red colored screw-clamping adapter
• 1 black colored screw-clamping adapter
• 1 Hex key tool 1.5 mm
Installation
For protection against electric shock, the parts must not be installed or removed into or from an active
power supply. Make sure the power supply is switched off and the power cable is unplugged to prevent
accidental powering!
When required, install these 4mm adapters in a pair of the output sockets as follows:
When it was required to switch off or to remove the power cable, wait at least 10 seconds
afterwards before continuing with the next steps!
Insert the similar colored adapter into the socket.
Insert the 1.5 mm Hex key tool in the middle of the adapter and turn clockwise to expand the plug
clamps until the adapter is fixed in place.
To avoid a rotation, hold the socket at the same time.
