Selecting
the
Exposure
Mode
The
following
exposure
modes
can
be
selected
to
match
your
photographic
purposes
and
uses.
Select
the
desired
mode
by
rotating
the
shutter-
speed
dial
to
the
correct
position.
Aperture-priority
Auto
Exposure
(AUTO)
If
you
choose
your
desired
aperture,
the
camera
will
automatically
select
the
shutter
speed
suited
for
it
to
provide
correct
exposure.
This
mode
is
useful
for
taking
pictures
by
utilizing
the
lens
depth
of
field.
Manual
Exposure
In
this
mode,
you
can
choose
the
aperture
and
shutter
speed
as
desired.
Intentional
over-
or
underexposure
is
also
easy.
Bulb
Exposures
(B)
This
mode
can
be
used
for
taking
night
scenes
or
pictures
of
the
sky
at
night
which
requires
long
exposure.
As
long
as
the
shutter release
is
depressed,
the
shutter
will
remain
open
to
expose
the
film.
Flash
Photography
(X)
This
mode
is
set
when
you
use
an
ordinary
flash
unit
having
only
X-contact
but
no
dedicated
flash
linked
contact.
