Turn the shutter speed dial so that the
desired shutter speed comes opposite the
dial index.
To change modes from aperture-priority
automatic exposure (“AUTO”) or “X” modes,
turn the shutter speed dial while depressing the
dial lock release button.

Set the aperture with the lens’ aperture
ring and shoot.
In the viewfinder, the shutter speed selected and
the exposure mark will turn on. Turn the shutter
speed dial or the lens’ aperture ring so that the
correct exposure mark “ $ ” turns on.
