5.1 Removing and fitting the baffle filters, mist collectors and
secondary filter
Hot steam / vapour
Risk of scalding from hot steam and vapour
Hot steam and vapour escaping from the combi steamer or from the exhaust air distributor in the hood
can cause face, hand, foot, and leg burns.
Open the appliance door as specified in the safety regulations. Never put your head into the cooking
chamber!
Do not remove the baffle filters or the mist collectors from the condensation hood if the appliance door
of a combi steamer that is ready for use is open.
Hot surfaces
Risk of burns from high temperatures on the inside of the hood
Touching the exhaust air distributor in the hood can cause hand burns.
Remove the baffle filters and the mist collectors only once the system has cooled down.
Carry out servicing tasks only once the system has cooled down.
Wear personal protective equipment as specified in safety regulations.
How to remove and fit the three baffle filters
1.
Switch off the combi steamer.
2.
Lift up the three baffle filters and tilt the bottom end of the filter
towards the front.
Start with the one in the middle.
Caution:
Risk of hands being pinched
3.
Lift the filters out from the U-rail and take the filters out of the
hood.
4.
Follow the steps in the reverse order to fit the baffle filters.
