What to do if Cool Space Air Conditioner is spitting water?
    • J
      Janet HowardAug 18, 2025
If your Cool-Space unit is overflowing or spitting water, the float valve hose may be loose, the water pressure might be too high (exceeding 60psi), or the float valve isn't seating correctly. Try tightening the hose connections, replacing the hose washers, reducing water pressure with an inline reducer, and checking or replacing the float orifice.

Why does Cool Space Air Conditioner pump make loud noise while running?
    • M
      Michael OliverAug 20, 2025
If the pump makes a loud noise while running, it could be due to the pump bearings or an object in the impeller housing. Replace the pump or clear any object from the impeller housing.

Why does my Cool Space Air Conditioner breaker trip when the fan starts?
    • L
      Laura GrayAug 23, 2025
The breaker might trip or a fuse might blow when starting the fan because of a motor stall, or the power source might not be providing the minimum required 115v/20 amp. To address this, replace the motor, upgrade the power supply, or replace the extension cord with a heavier one.

Why does my Cool Space Air Conditioner motor overheat and shut off?
    • M
      Michael MartinezAug 26, 2025
The motor may be overheating and shutting off due to an extension cord with too small a gauge, obstructed inlet air, or a faulty motor. Replace the extension cord with a heavier one, ensure at least 3’ of clearance for inlet air, and consider replacing the motor.

How to fix dry streaks in Cool Space Air Conditioner pads?
    • K
      Kari FarmerAug 28, 2025
If you notice too many dry streaks in the pads, it could be due to blocked holes in the spray bar or incorrect water flow. You should remove the spray bar, remove the plug and clean the tube and holes, and open the water flow control valve.

Why Cool Space Air Conditioner fan will not reach full speed?
    • J
      Joshua NelsonAug 30, 2025
If the fan turns but doesn't reach full speed and makes a humming sound, check the capacitor and motor electrical connections, as well as the extension cord. Replacing the capacitor or motor, or increasing the cord gauge might solve the issue.

Why Cool Space Air Conditioner fan blade doesn't turn and makes squealing sound?
    • V
      Virginia AllenSep 2, 2025
If the fan blade doesn’t turn and the unit makes a squealing sound, the start capacitor might be leaking, the motor might be stalled, the fan belt could be loose or broken, or the fan pulley might be spinning on the shaft. Replace the capacitor or motor, tighten or replace the fan belt, or tighten the pulley set screw.

    • S
      Suzanne RuizSep 7, 2025
