  • All wires for indoor and outdoor units must be connected by a professional.
  • If the power connection wire is insufficient, contact the supplier for a new one; do not extend it yourself.
  • For units without a plug, a circuit breaker must be installed in the line.
  • Relocation of the air conditioner must only be performed by qualified personnel.
  • Select an installation location out of reach of children and away from animals or plants; if unavoidable, add a fence for safety.
  • The indoor unit should be installed close to the wall.
  • The power supply must adopt a special circuit with air switch protection and sufficient capacity. Avoid frequent turning on/off of the unit.
  • Disconnect the power supply if the air conditioner will be out of use for a long period.
  • Never cut or damage power cables and control wires; replace damaged ones professionally.
  • Do not damage or use unappointed electric wires.
  • Ensure the installed stand is firm enough to prevent the unit from falling.
  • Do not step on the outdoor unit or place objects on it.
  • The unit must be reliably earthed.
  • The temperature of the refrigerant circuit will be high; keep the interconnection cable away from the copper tube.
  • The appliance shall be installed in accordance with national wiring regulations (NEC and CEC).

Refrigerant Handling (R32):

  • The appliance is filled with flammable gas R32.
  • Do not use means to accelerate defrosting or cleaning other than those recommended by the manufacturer.
  • Should repair be necessary, contact an authorized Service Centre. Any repairs by unqualified personnel may be dangerous.
  • The appliance must be stored in a room without continuously operating ignition sources (e.g., open flames, operating gas appliances, or electric heaters).
  • Do not pierce or burn the refrigerant circuit.
  • The appliance must be installed, operated, and stored in a room with a floor area larger than the minimum specified in the "Safety Operation of Inflammable Refrigerant" section.
  • For repairs, strictly follow manufacturer's instructions.
  • Be aware that refrigerants do not contain odor.
  • Read the specialist's manual.
  • Installation must be performed in accordance with the NEC/CEC by authorized personnel only.
  • Use suitable instruments for R32 refrigerant. Do not use any other refrigerant.

Bleeding and Piping:

  • After connecting indoor and outdoor units, bleed air and humidity from the refrigerant circuit using a vacuum pump to prevent compressor malfunction.
  • The process involves unscrewing valve caps, connecting a vacuum pump, operating it for 10-15 minutes to achieve an absolute vacuum of 10 mm Hg, closing the low-pressure knob, and then opening and closing the 2-way valve to check for leaks.
  • Tighten connections using two wrenches.
  • Wrap all refrigerant pipes and joints.
  • Install the drain fitting and drain hose (for heat pump models) on the outdoor unit chassis to channel condensate water.

Check After Installation: The manual includes a checklist for installers to verify proper installation, covering aspects like reliability, gas leakage, thermal insulation, drainage, power supply voltage, wiring, grounding, and pipe length/refrigerant charge amount. This helps prevent issues such as vibration, noises, unsatisfactory cooling/heating, condensation, water dripping, electrical leakage, and component burnout.

Safety Operation of Flammable Refrigerant:

  • All personnel engaging in refrigeration system work must hold valid certification from an authoritative organization and be qualified to deal with flammable refrigerants.
  • If other technicians maintain the appliance, they must be supervised by a person qualified in flammable refrigerants.
  • Repairs must follow the manufacturer's suggested methods.
  • The air conditioner must not be used in a room with running fire sources.
  • Do not drill or burn connection pipes.
  • The air conditioner must be installed in a room larger than the minimum room area specified on the nameplate or in the provided table.
  • Leak testing is mandatory after installation.

Welding (Flammable Refrigerant):

  • If cutting or welding refrigerant system pipes, follow a strict procedure: shut down the unit, cut power, eliminate refrigerant, vacuum, clean with N2 gas, then cut or weld.
  • Refrigerant should be recycled into a specialized storage tank.
  • Ensure no naked flame near the vacuum pump outlet and that the area is well-ventilated.

Filling the Refrigerant (Flammable Refrigerant):

  • Use specialized R32 refrigerant filling appliances and prevent contamination with other refrigerants.
  • Keep the refrigerant tank upright during filling.
  • Apply a label to the system after filling.
  • Do not overfill.
  • Perform leakage detection before test running and again when the unit is removed.

Safety Instructions for Transportation and Storage:

  • Use a flammable gas detector before unloading and opening the container.
  • No fire sources or smoking are allowed.
  • Comply with local rules and laws.
  • The outdoor unit must always be kept upright during handling.
