  If the Cornelius Chiller isn't operating and the power light is off, first, ensure the unit is receiving power by checking the main disconnect fuses, wiring, and power lead. Then, inspect the wiring for loose or poor connections and correct them. If those steps don't resolve the issue, the control power switch might be defective and require replacement. Also, the overload device might be open, in that case, allow the compressor to cool, then install a new overload device, replacing the compressor if needed. Another potential cause is an inoperable relay, which would need replacement. Finally, verify that the input voltage is within the required nominal range of +/- 10%.
